10 Reviews For This Extension
Love this tool. It's so easy to organize my expenses and to keep an eye on the subscriptions.
It's so nice being able to create a virtual card for all the subscriptions I'm likely to forget about. Everything works great with the extension and the website is really polished and nice too.
been using it for months lots of cards. very good customer support as well. It has additionally helped greatly in stopping unauthorized recurring subscriptions + other. Privacy.com has been a great help.
I've been using Privacy.com for a few months and it's been great, no issues at all. I very rarely use an actual credit card for online purchases any more and all of my credit card balances are coming down dramatically. This way I basically pay cash for online purchases in a very safe way. I wish I'd found privacy a lot sooner.
Such an amazing, useful, and intuitive software. I abosolutely love it and use it frequently to make purchases. Couldn't recommend this more.
Very satisfied with the service, I like the fact that there are extra steps to verify business accounts and that they care about "due diligence" when it comes to different types of accounts when verifying them and allowing them to be used on their platform; with Privacy I can better control spending online and watch out for irregular or recurring payments of cancelled subscriptions. Shout out to "Louis Rossman" for recommending this service on his YT channel. He even mentioned it wasn't a paid advert; He just likes the service so much he was willing to recommend to his regular viewers.
Great service, but the new extension is worse than the old one in at least one critical way. Why can't I change the funding source when I am creating a card? If I have to log into the site frequently anyways to change funding source, what's the extension really doing for me?
Unbeatable way to protect and be in control of your accounts and subscriptions. Free and easy to use, not one bad thing I can say about using Privacy!
Privacy.com is amazing. Period. Total flexibility in setting up cards that add a layer of privacy and security between you and the wild west of credit, banks, and vendors of various skillsets wrt security. Highly recommended!
The Privacy service really is a game changer: It allows you to create multiple 'virtual' credit card numbers. I create a new one for every single vendor, so I have one for Amazon, one for Best Buy, one for Netflix, one for Google, etc etc. You can set limits on each card and pause or cancel them anytime. One great use-case is for subscriptions like the New York times where they make it very easy to sign up but you actually have to phone in and talk to a real person to cancel. With Privacy, you can just pause or cancel the virtual card you created for NYT. Also great for subscription deals that are like '$3 per month for the first 3 months (then reverts to full $19.99 per month) - you just create a dedicated virtual credit card with a $3 monthly spend limit; after 3 months, when they try to deduct $19.99, the payment will be rejected.
